She brings a strong track record in evaluating and scaling science-driven ventures, from university spinouts to Series A+ companies, and has managed large public innovation portfolios with Innovate UK.

At Smart Society Capital, she supports growth equity investments and analysis.

She's always been drawn to both geopolitics and science, and energy is where the two most clearly converge. Energy systems shape national security, economic resilience, and global power dynamics, while advances in science and engineering determine what’s actually possible at scale

Beychu has founded and led an award-winning NGO focused on supporting artists across various conflict regions. She also enjoys weight lifting and Muay Thai in her spare time.
